2010-03-10 - Raimundas Sližys (1952–2008). Paintings, Watercolours and Graphics. Raimundas Sližys’ paintings open up a different artist’s world. It is recognisable but uncatchable like a hieroglyph dissolving in the distance. It is no accident that the discourse bears reference to the oriental aesthetics: like a true Japanese, Sližys lightly and accurately draws a contour of a figure barely touching the canvas. One move and here is an expressive profile. All what is irrelevant is rejected to allow the painting's space to breathe unrestricted.  more

2009-12-08 - Exhibition of Galina Petrova-Džiaukštienė. Vilnius Congress Hall will house the exhibition of Galina Petrova-Džiaukštienė, the artist that received acclaim in Europe, from 8 December 2009. This retrospect exhibition will display almost 50 best-known artist's art works covering the period from 1956 to 2007. The exhibition contains paintings and collages, the reflections of our days constructed of everyday strips. The organisation of this exhibition in the popular concert hall of the capital was supported by Juškus Gallery, the first private art gallery of Vilnius.  more
2009-11-20 - Iš vėjo ir vandens. Graphics exhibition of artist Šarūnas Leonavičius, shortlisted for National Awards, will open in Juškus Gallery, Vilnius, on Friday, 20 November 2009. The exhibition will present the illustrations made in 2004-2008 by different techniques for four books (already published). By opening this exposition, Juškus Gallery celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, starts its new intense "concert” season presenting the most prominent contemporary Lithuanian artists as well as the masters of modernist classics.  more
2009-01-06 - Colours of Freedom. On Epiphany day (6 January), Vilnius City Hall will see the opening of world-famous M. Rosenthal’s retrospective exhibition Colours of Freedom. Fifty top-class paintings were lent to this exhibition by Tel Aviv and Lithuanian Museums, private gallery owners and collectors.  more

2008-03-04 - Close to Earth. Stasys Juškus Gallery, the pioneering private gallery in Vilnius, will meet the Spring by presenting the exhibition Close to Earth (Arti žemės) of Stasys Jusonis, one of the best-known Lithuanian art classics. Over thirty artworks of the artist will be displayed in the exhibition breathing of romantic nature that is to be opened on 4 March. This jubilee exposition is dedicated for the 80th birthday of the artist.  more
2008-02-28 - Total Jewellery. Solveiga and Alfredas Krivičiai, the couple of the well-known Lithuanian jewellers, who keep surprising the public by their non-conformist approach, present the shocking exhibition titled Total Jewellery. Instead of noble metals such as platinum, gold or silver, this time they chose the shreds of cotton fabric to deconstruct the symbols of jewellery boldly and uncompromisingly. This time, the artists target the typology used in the Nazi concentration camps for marking the Jewish during the Second World War.  more
2008-02-12 - Fragments. The exposition titled Fragments of Elvyra Katalina Kriaučiūnaitė, which is among best-known contemporary Lithuanian graphic artists, will be displayed on the walls of the Minor Gallery of SEB Bank as a continuation of the series of Lithuanian fine art exhibitions. This unique exhibition will certainly stand out since the paper of all 20 displayed works of art was made by the artist herself. The exhibition that will be open until the end of April was organised with the help of Stasys Juškus Gallery representing Classic and Modern Lithuanian painting.  more
2008-01-31 - Fairy-tale without the end.... An exhibition retrospect of Vytautas Pakalnis, the artist of the young generation who suffered tragic fate, was opened in Vilnius Congress Chamber Hall on 31 January 2008. The best thirty paintings of the artist will be displayed in the popular concert venue until 20 April. The exhibition is organised by ArtBaltics, a fine arts management company in the Baltic States, in cooperation with Stasys Juškus Gallery. “Although the fate allowed the artist only a short road of life, he left a solid artistic legacy, which we are happy to present to the art lovers,” – says exhibition organiser Donatas Juškus and its curator Vaidilutė Brazauskaitė. The young talent made a bright record in the page of Lithuanian history of fine arts and, despite his tragedy, left warm and pleasant memories.  more

2007-11-08 - Supernature. ArtBaltics Challenges the Stagnant Art Market of the Baltics ArtBaltics, the first fine arts management company in the Baltic States, seriously challenges the numb art market of the region and introduces its first exhibition. The exhibition that has fascinated the selective public of Berlin and is titled SUPERNATURE by the contemporary Latvian artist Mikelis Fišers will be displayed in Vilnius Congress Chamber Hall from 8 November 2007. ArtBaltics organises the exhibition in cooperation with the first private art gallery in Vilnius, i.e. Stasys Juškus Gallery.  more
2007-09-17 - Sweet Dreams. Artist Violeta Juškutė, appreciated this Spring by Tate Modern in London and Sotheby's Auction, is presenting her art exhibition titled Sweet Dreams to the public of autumnal Vilnius. The exhibition will display the artist’s art works from her earlier cycles Meškiukai-guminukai (Gummy Bears, 2002) and Veidai (Faces, 2006) as well as a few latest works. The exhibition colourfully challenging kitsch will be hosted in Stasys Juškus Gallery, located next to Sereikiškės Park, until mid-October.  more

SEB Vilniaus banko Privačios bankininkystės departamento patalpose (Olimpiečių g. 1) atidaryta vieno iš žymiausių jaunosios kartos lietuvių dailininkų Simono Skrabulio personalinė tapybos darbų ekspozicija. Šią parodą metaforišku pavadinimu „Sielą šildanti aistra“ banke pristatė klasikinei ir moderniajai lietuvių tapybai atstovaujanti „Stasio Juškaus galerija“. 2007-01-18 - Winding Brushstrokes. The largest personal exhibition within this decade, Winding Brushstrokes, of Lithuanian painting classic Silvestras Džiaukštas will be displayed in Vilnius Congress Hall up to mid-March. The audience of this exhibition will have an opportunity to view forty selected paintings fully reflecting the complex life road of the gifted artist from his earliest years until his latest period. The exhibition Winding Brushstrokes has been arranged in Vilnius Congress Hall by Stasys Juskus Gallery, which has lately been actively advancing into new art environments.  more

Stasys Juskus Gallery, looking for new environments for art, invites all Vilnius residents and guests into a personal exhibition by Vitalis Čepkauskas, one of the best known contemporary pop art masters, in the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. The impressive exhibition of photo assemblage portraits titled …Soul Mirrors will be displayed in the foyer of the first floor of the theatre for a month. Dramatic art works that have recently captivated Paris public should be of great interest to the lovers of contemporary Lithuanian art.  more

2006-11-16 - The Shape and the Feeling. The Shape and the Feeling Will Cast a New Look at the Legacy of Painting Classic J. Švažas Stasys Juškus Gallery, located at the foot of Gediminas Hill in Vilnius, will allow Vilnius residents to view the creative legacy of the famous 20th c. Lithuanian classic painter Jonas Švažas. The latest exhibition arranged by the Gallery is titled The Shape and the Feeling. It will introduce 25 paintings, pastels and drawings of the artist to the audience. The exhibition covers both the early stage of the artist’s creative path and the last years of his life. City residents and guests will have an opportunity to visit the exhibition until 14 December 2006.  more

Memory of Landscape Master Čeponis in the Exhibition Colours of Life Stasys Juškus Gallery, located at the foot of Gediminas Hill in Vilnius, will allow Vilnius residents to view the canvases of the famous Lithuanian landscape painter Jonas Čeponis for the entire month. The exposition of over twenty selected paintings of the last century, named Colours of Life, will be arranged in memory of the renowned painter. Personal exhibition of Jonas Čeponis (1926-2003) has been organised for the painter’s jubilee of eighty years.  more

2006-07-04 - Old Lithuanian History to be Awakened in St. Catherine's Church. A unique exposition of historical art works by Prof. Giedrius Kazimierėnas, one of the best-known contemporary Lithuanian painters, is to be opened in St. Catherine's Church, which has recently became a new arena of art. The painter presents to the art lovers a diptych on the theme of Lithuanian history, which he has been working on for the last three years: The Crowning of Mindaugas and The Adoption of the First Lithuanian Statute.  more
2006-06-01 - Revived on Paper. The paintings of the best known Lithuanian painters of the last century - Antanas Gudaitis, Sofija Veiverytė and Kazimieras Morkūnas - will again come to life in the latest exhibition arranged in Stasys Juskus Gallery. That will be the first time when the paintings of these three supposedly incompatible artists will be displayed in a single venue. The unique exposition of as many as 77 paintings is titled Revived on Paper. Vilnius residents and visitors will have an opportunity to attend the Gallery and visit this unconventional exhibition until the start of July.  more

Stasys Juskus Gallery, situated at the foot of Gediminas Hill, Vilnius, held the exhibition of Professor Vincentas Gečas, one of the best known Lithuanian colourists, dedicated for the artist's 75th anniversary. Selected paintings of V. Gečas, representing the period of 1960-2005, were displayed in the cosy hall of the Gallery.  more
